I feel proud to be a part of the organisation named after the great visionary of Alipurduar, Late Nilkanta Mukherjee. His immense contribution towards educational development of Alipurduar makes him an iconic figure across generations. This Society, named after him naturally puts more importance to the sector of education. Along with that, we are also keen on activities related to social welfare in general. Alipurduar Nilkanta Mukherjee Welfare Society was formed with the purpose of carrying on the legacy of late Nilkanta Mukherjee by reaching especially the remotest corners in and around Alipurduar. The target group includes people in need of education and health care. We intend to stretch our helping hands and we believe that with our honest effort we can contribute meaningfully to the society at large. All the members of this society are committed to the cause we got united for.I feel privileged enough for being chosen as the Secretary of this organisation.
